Andrea Rogers is a born again believer of the Lord Jesus Christ. She is the wife of Deacon John Rogers and together they serve in ministry at First Baptist Church Jericho, Deptford, NJ. Andrea’s experience in ministry includes:
- Former, along with her husband, couples director for the couples ministry
- Former Minister Liaison for the Exhortation Ministry and IPP Ministry
- Minister Liaison for the Women’s Ministry
- Author of the book ‘Worshipful Change’
- Associate Minister
- Deaconess
- Former president of the Deaconess Ministry
- Women’s Church School Teacher
- Various times teaches Tuesday Night Bible study
- Former chairperson of the Deaconess Ministry for the Bethany Baptist Association
- Former Women’s Ministry Director
- Facilitator of a women’s conference prayer line held every Monday evening
- Facilitator of a young women’s group
Andrea has preached and taught the Word of God for Deaconess’ workshops, Deaconess’ training, women retreats, women groups, women conferences and various worship occasions. Andrea holds a:
- Sci., Business Management
- Biblical Studies from the Bethany Baptist Association School of Biblical Studies of Southern NJ
- She has taken courses at Woodbury Counseling Center
- She is currently pursuing her Master’s of Divinity degree: Chaplaincy Concentration at Liberty University
- Completed course 8066 Christianity and Contemporary Issues at the Bethany Baptist Assoc. of Southern NJ Leadership School
For the past 20 years, she has also served God in her professional career as a manager at TJMAXX. Andrea enjoys spending time with her husband John, her family, and sisters in Christ at the First Baptist Church of Jericho (Deptford, NJ). She has a passion for sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others. Andrea understands the importance of discipleship and servant hood. Andrea lives by her favorite scripture found in Galatians 6:9, “And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.”
