Baptist Church Covenant

HAVING been led, as we believe, by the Spirit of God to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior; and on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we do now in the presence of God, angels and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another, as one body in Christ.

our vision

Our Vision is Led by the Holy Spirit, we will preach the gospel through holistic (spiritual, social, economic and political) development of our community to uplift and glorify the Kingdom of God while effectively developing disciples of Jesus Christ to bring the transformative gospel to the community of unbelievers.

Doctrinal Summation

Baptism -- we believe that baptism is immersion in water as taught in the New Testament and practiced by Christ and the Apostles. Although one is not saved by baptism, nevertheless, obedience to compliance is essential to obeying the commands of Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20.
Suitable Candidates for Baptism -- We believe that the only suitable persons to receive this ordinance are those who have exercised a personal saving confession of faith in Christ, and are regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Consequently, infants ought not to be, and cannot be scripturally baptized, since they can neither exercise, nor profess that faith in Christ.
