Rev. Richard L. Price attended New Gethsemane Baptist church in Philadelphia, PA most of his youth and adult life. Richard answered the call to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ at New Gethsemane and was licensed in November 2002. Approximately three years later, he was ordained under the leadership of the late Dr. Samuel B. Jordan Sr., pastor of the New Gethsemane Baptist Church, serving as an associate minister.

In 2008 Richard married his wife Louise and transferred his membership to First Baptist Church of Jericho in Deptford, NJ, where he currently serves as an associate minister to Pastor Clabon Bogan Jr. Richard also serves as Ministry Liaison over the Outreach Ministries which includes Evangelism, Missionaries, and Nursing Home, Hospital, and Food Bank ministries.

Rev. Price enjoys singing, preaching and participating in missionary and outreach projects. His favourite scripture is Psalm 91:16 “With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.” His greatest desire is to build up and edify the body of Christ.
