Min. Desiree Guyton

Minister Desiree Guyton is one of 10 children of Vivian Guyton and the late Rev. Horace Guyton.  She is one of six minister (three of which are Pastors) emanating from the Guyton family.  Desiree also serves as a foster parent and has parented over 4 boys in recent years.  She is currently a foster parent of two teenage boys and works part time as Behavioral therapist for Youth Advocate Program working with families and at risk teens.  In reality, all youth are part of the family of Desiree Guyton.

Desiree has twenty years experience working redesigning and reviving youth ministries in Tri State Area. Minister Guyton holds a Bachelors of Arts in Christian Education from Messiah College from Grantham PA, Masters of Divinity from Biblical Theological Seminary from Hatfield, PA and is currently working on Master of Arts in Counseling from Biblical Theological Seminary.   She has over 12 years experience in Christian Education and Youth Ministry in the South Jersey and Philadelphia area.

our mission

Our Mission is to seek to establish a Bible Based Ministry comprised of three hundred men and a total population of over 1300, inclusive of women and children. We will provide the training for our three hundred men, to not only be the Priest Head of their homes, but to become the model to future generations of young men as to what constitutes Godly living. We will use the word of God as our standard of life being guided by its precepts, statutes and principles. Although the vision is for three hundred men, we will not neglect the ministry to every sector of our church family, for all are equal in the sight of God.

We will strive to be a Household of Faith comprised of Three Hundred men and five hundred families, seeking to glorify God, above our personal goals and objectives. If we can’t personally reach a Brother and his family for Christ, we will earnestly pray for those who may be able to gain a breakthrough. By the use of the appropriate means of Prayer and Divine Guidance we will accomplish the Purpose of the Church (Education & Evangelism) through the Process of the Church (Transformation) by focusing on the Priority of the Church (Family Nurturing).

Doctrinal Summation

Baptism -- we believe that baptism is immersion in water as taught in the New Testament and practiced by Christ and the Apostles. Although one is not saved by baptism, nevertheless, obedience to compliance is essential to obeying the commands of Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20.
Suitable Candidates for Baptism -- We believe that the only suitable persons to receive this ordinance are those who have exercised a personal saving confession of faith in Christ, and are regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Consequently, infants ought not to be, and cannot be scripturally baptized, since they can neither exercise, nor profess that faith in Christ.
